Hello, Church! Summer break is drawing to a close in just a few weeks. I have already seen the ads and store displays for "Back to School". I don't know about you but I LOVE this time of year. Much like spring, this time is filled with possibilities, excitement, and a little nervousness (especially for kids and students making BIG transitions).
So, I have one favor to ask - “pray continually,” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 NIV
Pray for VBS - That the Gospel will be presented through loving relationships and engaging activity.
Pray for CAMP - We have had a summer full of different aged camps; may the kingdom move boldly.
Pray for High School Graduates - May their transition in relations in new places flourish for Christ.
Pray for incoming freshman - May this season allow for growth and a time where they can shine the light of Christ.
Pray for incoming 6th graders - May their transition to middle school create space for them to own their faith in Jesus.
Pray for incoming Kindergartners - May God set their little feet on a path that has Godly relationships.
Pray for ALL parents and families - May they pray like Jesus “I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.” John 17:9 NIV
All of our kids are a gift from God. They are not ours to hold forever but to cherish, love, and grow for a little while. There will come a day we release them into the world - so we pray. See Jesus’ full prayer here….John 17:6-19 NIV
