Our second annual Prayer Partner Program is in full swing. Again, unity is the goal! This program encourages our adults to actively pray daily for our grade school, junior high and high school students. God's word in Malachi 4:6 is being fulfilled, "… turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents …”. A BIG thank you to all our prayer partners and families who have been involved in this program in any way.
Early summer each year, parents have the opportunity to sign their child(ren) up for the Prayer Partner Program for the coming school year. During this time, adults who have a heart to lift up the next generation are also able to volunteer to be a prayer partner. Volunteering adults are then assigned a child to cover in prayer daily.
Two times throughout the school year, there is a special meal held after 2nd service for the children and adults who are a part of the Prayer Partner Program and their families. This coming Sunday, October 1st will be one of these special times of fellowship. We pray that all those involved in the program this year will be able to enjoy the meal.
Speaking of meal, thank you to so many people who provided and prepared food. You made a big impact in providing a special place for our families and prayer partners to connect. We can't very well be unified if we don't connect and a meal is a great way to make that happen!
If you would like to be involved in the Prayer Partner Program in the future, please contact Valerie Hood or Ethan Davis, as well as, watch for sign up information in May of 2018.
