We Want YOU

There is an iconic World War I poster made in 1917 by James Montgomery Flagg. It was entitled “I want You”. It’s purpose was clear to recruit for the US Army. Today this image is so prolific we sometimes forget the desperate days that marked the reason for why it was created.

We now are in a war. Not for land or rights or resources, but for the souls of men and women, boys and girls. The Apostle Paul said, “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

The battle is REAL. The battle is HERE. The battle is won when each and every one of us apply our time and talents in faith. We want YOU.

As we close out the next two months, we are setting schedules for the next semester. If you are currently serving - THANK YOU! If you don’t know where or how to get plugged in, talk to any team leader, elder or minister. You can, and will, make a big difference if we all join together for one mission, one purpose, unified for Jesus Christ.

Please do not hesitate to call or contact about service. It doesn’t even have to be in Youth and Family. We are all better together when all of our areas are maxed out, fully staffed, and ready to wage spiritual war!
