Church Family, would you join me in prayer this summer? There are a few things happening and in the works that we would love to have you join with us in prayer over.
Over the next few months, we want to put together a worship ministry team that has a heart to plan and execute dynamic worship experiences for our church body. When planning within the worship arts (really the arts of any kind), it is so beneficial to have a range of input. There are also so many moving parts leading to any given worship experience. For just a given Sunday morning we have two musical groups and two audio visual teams. Leading up to that during the week, there are set decisions, production decision for video creation, and multimedia creation for slides, etc. So much benefit could come from a team that oversees this together. “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:12 NIV)
Pray with us that as we move into this, we find the right team that is committed to the ministry of worship and the unity of our church. “Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” (Ephesians 4:15-16 ESV)
